Getting enough exercise is one of the most important things people neglect when it comes to their health. Even if you don’t have a job where you sit at a desk all day, there’s a good chance you don’t move around enough if you don’t exercise with purpose.

For the best results, aim for 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise per day. You can break up that up into two sessions per day or exercise a few times per week for longer periods of time.

Just try to hit that 30 minutes per day as an average for the best overall physical health. If you’re going to exercise regularly, strength training and cardiovascular exercise should be on the top of your list.

Get More Sleep

Sleep is essential for a healthy overall life, but many people simply feel like they don’t have the time for a full eight hours per night. While you may not need all eight hours, aiming for at least six to seven should be your goal.

Getting any less sleep than that could have some health consequences you don’t want.

Eat Right All the Time

What you eat matters, so filling your body with junk food won’t make you feel good. Whenever possible, create your diet around lean protein, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, fresh vegetables and fresh fruit. Avoid junk food and sugar as daily foods.
