
Vegan Mac And Cheese



Ingredients
1 Box Macaroni Shells
1/4 Cup Vegan Butter
1/3 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Almond or Coconut Milk
1/2 Cup Nutritional Yeast
2 tsp Sea Salt
3 tsp Soy Sauce (or Bragg’s Amino)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions

Bring a medium size pot of water to boil.

Add shells.

Cook for 12-15 minutes or until shells are tender.

Drain Water.

While the shells are cooking, place a small sauce pan on medium heat.

Add Butter and flour.

Make a roux by whisking together for 3-4 minutes.

Add Milk, Nutritional Yeast, Sea Salt, Soy Sauce, and Garlic Powder.

Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low.

The mixture will thicken during this time (5-8 min).

Pour “cheese” sauce over the shells and enjoy!
