
Mild Tomatillo Salsa Verde

Ingredients
6 Tomatillos
1/2 to 1 Bunch Cilantro
1/2 White Onion
2 Jalapenos
2 Limes
Salt to Taste
Instructions

1.Wash tomatillos, jalapenos, and cilantro

Cut off ends of jalapenos and cut stems off cilantro. For less heat, remove the seeds from the jalapenos

On a baking sheet, place tomatillo, and jalapenos

Broil on high for 10-15 minutes. Watch closely. They will be ready when they become black on top. You may need to flip the garlic so they don’t burn.

While broiling, add onion, cilantro, salt, and limes to blender and blend

Add garlic, tomatillos, and jalapenos to blender once they are broiled. Include the juices on the baking sheet into the blender as well.

Blend together

Let cool and serve with tortilla chips. If you are not serving right away, refrigerate after it cools.
