Low-Fat Cilantro Lime Hummus
Hummus is always a staple for me, and I like to use it in a lot of recipes. This vegan recipe for Cilantro Lime Hummus has a Mexican flare, and is sure to be a hit! I don’t like to add any tahini or oil because it gives it un-needed calories and you can make it taste just as good without the added fats.
It’s that simple. I hope you found this recipe easy to make and delicious to eat! As always, let me know what you think!
2 – 15oz. cans of Garbanzo Beans (No Salt Added)
4 tsp of minced garlic
2 limes, juiced
Zest of 1 lime
¼ to ½ bunch of cilantro
¼ cup of water
Put all the ingredients into a food processor or blender. For the garbanzo beans, I like to use the Whole Foods 365 brand.
After all the ingredients are in the blender, blend until it is smooth.
Salt to taste.
Refrigerate and Enjoy!
