Kid-Friendly Green Smoothie With Silk Almond Milk

smoothie recipeOne of the most difficult things to get kids to eat is their fruits and vegetables, especially when you want them to eat nutrient-dense kale. By itself, kale is very bitter and most kids won’t want to eat it, but when it’s blended in this delicious kid-friendly “green” smoothie, they won’t even taste it! This smoothie will get them over a full serving of fruits.

Kale is a super-food that’s high in calcium and vitamins A, C, and K. Kale is also a great food for vegetarians and vegans because it is high in iron which is essential for maintaining your health. There are also blueberries in this smoothie, which is another great super-food. Blueberries have the highest amount of antioxidants of all fruits. Are you ready to dig into this delicious smoothie? Let’s get started!
