
Alicia’s Apple Crisp Recipe
I prefer to bake my apple crisps in these mini Ceramcor dishes because they fit conveniently in my convention oven but you can also bake it in a 8×8 square pan by doubling the recipe below. I encourage you to read my Benefits and Uses of Apples article before trying this fabulous recipe.
Apple Crisp Recipe Instructions

Ingredients
2 Apples (I prefer Honeycrisp or Jonathans), peeled and chopped
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
Squeeze of lemon juice
¼ cup brown sugar
½ tsp vanilla
½ cup rolled oats
1/3 cup flour
¼ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature
Instructions

Mix the chopped apples, sugar, lemon and cinnamon together in a medium sized bowl. Place the mixed apples into the pan or 4 mini ramekins.

Using the same mixing bowl, mix the last six ingredients till the butter has thoroughly mixed with everything. Top the apple mixture with this sugar and oats mixture.
