Adorable Cheesecake in a Jar to Cool your Spring Weekend

Note: This dish will take time in preparation for 50-55 minutes and as to be served chilled will be ready in 2 hours.

It has been months and my family has not planned a single vacation. Now, It’s time to relax with the family and enjoying a picnic with our caravan can be the best idea to spend a stress-free day overall. You can check this link out about various residential caravan parks. As, I discussed this with my husband, we planned about how to move the day throughout. He suggested some dishes and what stuck in my mind, to make something healthy and special this time.

My kids are very choosy about what they eat and mostly try to skip the healthy diet as they are taste searchers. As a mother, it is quite hard to grow such kids and select what is best for them. But, as a mother, I know better how to treat them with the best. This weekend, I am preparing a special dish to increase the hunger of my kids and nothing will beat the Adorable Cheesecake in a jar to cool this spring weekend.

It will be a healthy surprise for my kids and I will try to make it quick at night after they fell asleep. As, a couple we love cooking, and my better half has always been supportive in nature. We generally fight on different issues but all are resolved in a soothing way. Now, the dish I am preparing contains following nutrients per serving. For every mother, it is necessary to give healthy food to their kids and as concerned, I am also prone to provide the best supplements to them. This dish will be a surprise for my kids and I am sure about, that they will cherish my surprise. You can follow the instructions and the ingredients which I have shared in this post. All the ingredients are commonly available at home or nearby stores. While cooking, I feel that it needs creativity to spell love and health in every dish that you make for your family.

While we have reached the picnic spot, we all dined out of the caravan and my kids help me in making the arrangements. After the lunch was over, my kids eagerly waited for the something special and stared at my eyes. As I opened up the chiller box and took out the cheesecake in the jars, there were smiles on there faces, which my husband instantly clicked and stored as a joyful memory.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons of butter, try melted

2 tablespoons of sugar

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

6 shortbread cookies, make them finally crushed (try out Keeble Sandies)

6-8 canning jars with lids (1 and a half pint)

12-14 ounces sliced fresh strawberries

1 package of cream cheese (must be of 8 ounces and softened)

Another half cup of white sugar

1 and a half cup of whipped heavy cream

Instructions

Pour cookie crumbs, butter and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl and stir together until they blend. Now, as per your servings, divide this mixture evenly in the jars and press gently in the bottom. (you can add about 3-4 tablespoons in each jar and don’t pack or press it hard)

Now, take fresh strawberries and halve them gently to garnish, and then keep them Chop the rest of the strawberries.

With the help of an electronic mixer, beat the ingredients together including cream cheese, lemon juice and add a half cup of white sugar. Now, fold on the whipped cream and those chopped strawberries and divide them evenly among jars. Garnish each jar with 2 berry halves and then cover them using lids. Add them to the refrigerator and enjoy after 2 hours.
