  • 1 Small White onion, chopped
  • 1 Cup Frozen Peas
  • 4 Cups Cooked Brown Rice

It always seems like there are never enough hours in the day. I am a full-time Speech-Pathologist at an elementary school and my hours extend far past the time that school ends. I’m lucky if I can get home and get in a quick dinner before preparing for the next day. Likewise, my husband is a Sales Representative, and he doesn’t usually get home in time to cook either. Here is my recipe for Vegan Gardein Sweet and Sour Porkless Bites with Fried Rice – a fun, conveniently easy, and yummy recipe for all to enjoy. Feel free to share, and I hope you enjoy it as much as my family has!

  1. Chop the peppers and onions and heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil on medium to high heat in either a large saute pan or a wok chopped pepper
  2. Add the onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 2- 3 minutes until slightly soft. Seasoned Pepper and Onion
  3. Add the frozen peas, and sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked.
  4. While this is cooking, be sure to get the Gardein Sweet and Sour Porkless Bites going. I chose to use the stove top cook method per the instructions on the bag. (Super easy!)
  5. Add the cooked rice, garlic powder, soy sauce, water, and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Sauté for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Let it cool for 2 minutes. Then serve your Gardein Sweet and Sour Porkless Bites over the fried rice and enjoy! Gardein Pork
